I discovered Matt online and had three 90 min 1to1sessions in photography. I found him to be very professional, focusing on what I wanted to achieve. The sessions were explained well, making it easier to absorb and put into practice. I got good value and content for the cost, learnt a lot, and as I expand my understanding I look forward to further sessions with Matt.

I hired Matt to give me a lesson in photography as I was struggling to take decent shots, especially interior architectural ones. Matt proved a superb teacher; positive, patient and inspirational, he is an excellent communicator and a lovely guy too - I can't recommend highly enough, I was able to take some shots after the session that I am super happy with - as previous reviews note, he went above & beyond my expectation.

Matt's work is gorgeous Sussex and South Coast photography which makes you realise how lucky you are if you live here. Images you can dive into time and time again.

We arranged a 2 hour 1to1 lesson for my 14year old daughter to learn how to handle her new cannon DSLR camera. Matt was not only very knowledgeable but able to put this across in a manner that my daughter easily understood (even I a non photographer did!). He was well prepared and we were given a handout with all the info discussed so we could refer back to the it and after a quick try out of what we had learnt on hove seafront he also kindly said that we could always contact him if we go stuck or had a quick question he could answer via email. Very much enjoyed perusing the gallery. Matt Goddard has taken a number of remarkable photographs of iconic Sussex sites, including an awesome shot of the Seven Sisters under snow (which we couldn't resist buying). A lot of fun talking to Matt about his approach to photography.

I found the lesson I had with Matt answered my questions about the photos I had previously sent him. We went through some extra theory behind the use of settings on the camera before putting them into practice. He ensured that I understood how the settings affected the pictures both in theory and practice. His explanations were clear and easy to follow. I now just need to get more experience in using the skills. I would have no Hesitation in recommending him.
