We start from the very beginning and no previous experience of photo editing or Adobe Lightroom is neccessary. We’ll walk through editing step by step with both the catalogue and edit functions. There will be plenty of practice editing your own photos with help and feedback as we go. See below for further info.

Prints are made to order, hand-signed, and optionally framed ready to hang. For this reason, orders may take a little longer but are worth the wait!

Unframed orders will be deivered in 1 to 2 weeks.
Framed orders will be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks.

Returns

Return unframed prints within 45 days of delivery for a full refund.

Framed prints and custom orders are non-refundable. I’m an artist and small business, I’m unable to store framed stock or absorb the cost.

What you’ll achieve by end of photo editing workshop…

We start from the very beginning – no previous experience of photo editing or Adobe Lightroom is neccessary – and walk through step by step for you to become familiar with both the catalogue and edit functions.

You’ll become confident in the following:

Configure Adobe Lightroom for optimal performance and ease of recovery
Import, arrange and catalogue your photos for quick access in future
Edit photos using the main controls (excludes advanced controls) using common photos and walking through step-by-step together, and your own photos too
Export your photos for social media, email, printing etc
Shortcuts to speed up and simplify edits

Your Host

Matt Goddard is an award-winning landscape photographer that has taught 300+ budding photographers since 2017. Matt has 10 years experience of Adobe Lightroom, it’s evolving feature set, and how best to achieve the desired edit to a professional standard.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is accepted up until 4 weeks before the event. A full refund will be provided, or a place on an alternative date if you prefer.

Joiner Details

A welcome email will be received with further details prior to the event. A weather forecast will be included and, if necessary, the event will be postponed if the weather is very wet!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Limited Edition?

A Limited Edition is where the photograph is produced in small numbers to maintain exclusivity. The edition number is hand-written on a white-border surrounding the print e.g. 1/25 is the 1st print of 25 available.

The Edition Size is the number available and once these sell out no more will ever be available. See The Limited Edition Details on this page for the edition size.

95% of prints I sell are Limited Edition. Limited Edition isn’t mentioned for my Open Edition photographs – these are not restricted in the number available.

Will The Print Be Signed By The Photographer?

All Limited Edition Prints are hand-signed, titled, and numbered within the edition

How Are Unframed Prints Packaged?

Unframed Prints are protected and packaged in a thick postage tube. The smallest prints (30 x 20cm) may be sent in a rigid card envelope

Prints delivered in a tube will be rolled and require flattening out before framing – your framer can do this for you

What Are The Framing Options?

Frames are available in a classic black finish or a modern, fresh white. FSC approved wood is the preferred option, and occassionally other options to suit

Perspex glazing is used for clarity and safety

Where Can The Print Be Positioned?

Prints are produced using Archival Grade papers, inks, and frame mounting for enduring beauty

Positioning of your framed print is still important for maximum enjoyment; avoid placing your print in strong direct sunlight, high humidity areas, and above wall heaters

Was wonderful to meet Matt and see his photos at a hidden disability art fair recently, he had a lot of knowledge and passion for his subject and should be really proud of the photos he's achieved! These are mainly really beautiful immersive landscapes, one you felt you were almost stepping into, and there were some beautiful and artistic shots of the sea too. He's a very generous and kind man with a lot of time for people interested in photography, he chatted away to me about his photos and took a look at a few that I offered to show him too. I bought a couple of his prints for presents and inspiration, I was able to afford two beautiful prints as some were discounted to allow Matt to expand his portfolio. These are really lovely quality and the first that I've ever been able to afford to own. Both were beautifully mounted and finished. It felt great to be able to support a local photographer. Matt also teaches photography, and I can imagine that he would be a very good person to learn from as he was very kind and patient with me.
